Painbirds 03:34
Goddamn it's so very hot Supposed to come a rain but it's not Oh yeah Here come the painbirds Oh yeah Here come the painbirds Spiral down those hateful dears Between our skins and burning spheres Oh yeah Here come the painbirds Oh yeah Here come the painbirds

about

Some songs we like.

Turn yr heater on was originally written by Keith Hudson but the MoB attempt owes much to the New Order version recorded as a Peel Session in 1982. It was the favourite song of Ian Curtis and the band performed it as a tribute to him.

Having seen Sparklehorse in the 1990's Howard has always had a love for the music he wrote and performed, though when Horsemouth came to him with an idea for a cover of one of his songs, he had pretty much stopped listening to him. I think we have done this one justice pop pickers.

Robbie Basho the genius who wrote Blue Crystal Fire. The second time we have recorded it and again I'm not sure we did it justice. (It's a bonus track so you have to download the EP to hear it).
